THE FOUNDERS@ ST. JAMES  (THE GAUNTLET )
A P.B Dye creation set amid carolina pines and picturesque live oaks. It plays along coastal salt marshes and the Intracoastal Waterways. THE PLAYERS CLUB @ ST. JAMES
The Players Club has been carefully designed to enhance the spectacular beauty of the unspoiled coastal landscape. This  layout calls for a variety of shots and it will test every aspect of your game. It blends ingenious use of berms and bunkers with the beautiful and natural landscape of Coastal Carolina.10 minutes from Oak Island/30  from Magnolia.

THE MEMBERS CLUB @ ST. JAMES
Complementing the trio at St. James is Hale Irwin's signature course. This layout is immaculately groomed, and it is both fun and challenging. It is heralded as been the most player friendly course in the whole area. A beautiful clubhouse features a complete golf shop and excellent practicing facilities.10 minutes from Oak Island/30 from Magnolia.

MAGNOLIA GREENS GOLF PLANTATION
Only 5 minutes from downtown Wilmington, Tom Jackson has designed 27 holes that are the envy of area. The PGA Tour was impressed enough   to hold their qualifying rounds for the year 1999 as well as for year 2000. ACCOMMODATIONS are on the 15th hole of  the course. 30 min.  from Oak Island. 

BRICK LANDING PLANTATION GOLF CLUB
This course can be the highlight of your trip. Water comes into play on 16 holes.....on the other 2 holes, you have the Ocean! Island greens, hardwood forests, saltwater tidal marshes and ocean views. Pay attention to the sign in the pro-shop." IT TAKES BALLS TO PLAY THE BRICK."  40 min. from the condos on Oak Island and from  Magnolia.

LOCKWOOD FOLLY GOLF LINKS
This hidden treasure is tucked between the Lockwood Folly River and the Intracoastal Waterway. Live oaks, dogwoods and pines line the fairway and define the greens, accentuating the natural grace of Willard Byrd's design. Each hole presents golfers of all levels a distinct challenge. A must play. 35 m from Oak island/Magnolia. 

BRIERWOOD GOLF CLUB
Located in the town of Shallotte, Brierwood features a mature 18 hole Championship Golf Course in a coastal forest setting. Broad fairways and manicured greens are accented by numerous lakes and ponds. The club's notorious blue heron and other elegant birds make this course their home. 35 minute drive from Oak/Magnolia

LION'S PAW GOLF LINKS
Rise to the challenges set by legendary golf architect Willard Byrd at Lion's Paw. This beast features dramatic elevations, rolling terrain and water hazards. Part wild and untamed, part rustic and quiet, this course presents the lion's share of adventure and scenery...45 minute drive from Oak Island/Magnolia.... a five iron to S.C. border.

PANTHER'S RUN GOLF LINKS
Tim Cate designed this course to run along the edge of a nature preserve, and continuously tests one's ability to stay out of the surrounding marshlands. Fairways that twist and turn and scenic water features blend together perfectly to create one of the most visually interesting courses.......a 45 minute drive from Oak Island/Magnolia.

SANDPIPER BAY GOLF CLUB
The first thing that you will notice at Sandpiper Bay are the rolling contoured fairways, the natural sculpted bunkers and bentgrass greens that remains in excellent condition all year round. You can be assured to receive the V.I.P. treatment. It has received many awards for the friendliest service on the Strand. 45 minutes from Oak/Magnolia

OAK ISLAND
This course offers a great challenge to all levels. Live oak trees line all fairways. A George Cobb design that will test every aspect of your game. Alligators may be seen basking close to the fairways. A fun and player friendly course with enough trouble that keeps you coming back. Just across the street from the BEACH CONDOS at Oak Island / 35 m from Magnolia.

CAROLINA NATIONAL GOLF CLUB
A beautiful 27 hole layout  designed by MASTERS Champion Fred Couples. Heralded as one of the finest in the area. You will remember the course long after you have played it. Located on Hwy 211, a short 20 minute ride from Oak Island/Magnolia  Come and enjoy golf and nature at their very best!

CROW CREEK
A most popular destination for all golfers visiting, The Grand Strand. designed by Rick Robbins, a former Jack Nicklaus design associate.  It offers an enjoyable challenge to resort players, as well as, low handicappers.  55 minutes from Oak Island or Magnolia, but it's only a short drive to Myrtle Beach.
RIVERS EDGE
 Rivers Edge Golf Club sits high upon bluffs that overlook two miles of grassy marshlands bisected by the bends and turns of the Shallotte River. BALD HEAD ISLAND
 The bearer of a slope rating of 139 and a coveted 4-1/2-star rating from Golf Digest’s Places to Play, the Bald Head Island Club course has been heralded as one of the most challenging courses in the Carolinas. A 20 minute boat ride from Southport 1 hr from Magnolia.

TIGERS EYE GOLF LINKS
This new $10 million project, Tiger's Eye, completes the Big Cats trilogy. Tim Cate's newest creation  offers 18 unforgettable signature holes. It's unlike anything in Myrtle Beach. SEA TRAIL JONES
Players of all skill levels will enjoy an extraordinary golf experience on this straightforward golf course with typical Jones bounding. Wide fairways and large mounds are surrounded by water, with water coming into play on 11 holes of the Par 72 championship course. In addition to water hazards, the many pot and large expanse bunkers make for a delightfully challenging game of golf.
