What makes North Carolina Golf Vacations unique?
Unlike other destinations where the cost  increases with the temperature,
our prices are very competitive  any  time of   the year! 

The package includes 6 days of golf and 7 nights accommodations.  The only additional charges are condo cleaning fees ($80 per condo) and cart fees on some courses, certain times of the year.  Cart fees, when applicable, are $ 25   per player.

What are the accommodations like?
The accommodations on Oak Island, as well as the accommodations on Magnolia Greens, are fully furnished, fully equipped condo villas, spacious enough to accommodate four people. The villas at Oak Island have their own private outdoor pool facilities which are open from mid-May to mid-October.

What happens if there are less than four people?
If there are  two or three  people, there is an additional charge of $100 per player.  We do have a non-golfer fee which one-half the cost of a golf pkg.

When does the package begin?
Arrival day is Saturday after 3:00 p.m.  Golfing days are Sunday through Friday.  Departure is the following Saturday by 9:00 a.m.

Is it possible to play on the day of arrival and/or on the day of departure?
Yes, it is possible.  These are considered extra days over and above the regular . You pay for green and cart fees only.

What are the courses like?
Golfers who have vacationed in nearby Myrtle Beach know all about The Founders Club, Lion's Paw, Panther's Run, Carolina National, Magnolia Greens, Sea Trail Plantation, Rivers Edge, etc.   We presently have some  courses on our package where a surcharge is applicable.  They are:  Tigers Eye, River Landing,  Bald Head Island, Rivers Edge, Porter's Neck, Crow Creek and Sea Trail Plantation. To play any of these, there is an additional cost  and it varies according to the season.

Are there any places to eat/shop?
Either destination, Magnolia Greens or Oak Island, abounds with shops and restaurants that cater to every taste.  Magnolia is a mere five minutes from historic downtown Wilmington and Oak Island is only five minutes from Southport, with restaurants right on the Atlantic Ocean.  The condo villas boast   full,  well-stocked kitchens where one can prepare meals, if so desired. 

What deposit is needed?
A $300 U.S. deposit per person is required in order to reserve the condo and book your tee times.  The balance of the cost is payable two weeks prior to departure.

How about playing more than eighteen holes a day? 
Courses offer a replay on the same course on the same day. Replays are possible when bookings are made well in advance and early tee off times are made for your morning round. Cost for replays varies from course to courses. The  average is about $35 per person with cart.

What is the cart fee schedule for the year 2008?
The following courses offer the cart fee included in the package price  any time of year:  The Founders, The Players, The Members,  Brick Landing, Lockwood Folly, Sandpiper Bay, Oak Island Golf Club, Brierwood Golf Club,  and The Lakes. You may play all your six rounds on these courses with no extra cost for carts.

Magnolia Greens  and Carolina National charge  a cart fee in March, April,  October and November

The following courses charge a cart fee any time of the year:   Lion's Paw, Panther's Run, Tiger's Eye, Bald Head Island,  River's Edge, Porter's Neck, and Crow Creek, and Sea Trail Plantation.

Where are the nearest airports?
One can fly into Raleigh, N.C., which is  two hours from  Magnolia or two and a half hour drive from Oak Island.  The other options are to fly into Myrtle Beach or Wilmington. For Ontario residents, reasonably  priced flights can be negotiated out of Buffalo, N.Y.

Are packages available for less than six days ?
 We have affiliations with numerous motels  in the Wilmington area and  can arrange packages  to suit your needs.

Can you just purchase green fee passes to these courses?
Yes, you can. We'd be glad to sell just the green fee passes at  discounted rates.

Can you rent the condos without purchasing the golf package?

Yes, you can. Come and spend your vacation with us. Prices do vary according to  seasons.

*A   deposit of $300 U.S. per person is required before the accommodations and tee times are booked for you. Full and final payment is due 15 days prior to
 departure.
* A $300 security deposit per condo.

*No refunds or rain-checks issued for any unused portion of services.
